The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in his message, greeted the people of Himachal Pradesh on the 75th anniversary of his inauguration and noted the happy occasion that the 75th anniversary had been celebrated in the 75th year of Independence. He reiterated the commitment to bring the nectar of development to all the citizens of the region during the Azadi of AmritMahotsav. Writing a personal note, the Prime Minister quoted Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s poem and recalled his long association with a beautiful region of hardworking and determined people. He commended the government’s success in agriculture, increased electricity, literacy rates, rural road connectivity, tap water and electricity in all households.
He emphasized efforts to build on these achievements over the past 7-8 years. “Under Jai Ram ji’s new leadership, the ‘dual-engine’ government has taken steps to expand rural roads, widen highways, railway lines, and the effects are already being felt. new regions”, said the premier. He particularly noted the progress in the health sector by talking about effective and rapid vaccinations during the epidemic.
To unlock the power of Himachal Pradesh
The Prime Minister stressed the need to work hard to unlock the full potential of Himachal Pradesh. He said during the AmritKaal period there was a need for continued work in the fields of tourism, higher education, research, IT, biotechnology, food processing and organic farming. He said the Vibrant Village program, announced in this year’s budget, will greatly benefit Himachal Pradesh. He also touched on increased communication, forest enrichment, swachhta and human participation in these programs. The Prime Minister noted the expansion of the social welfare programs by the Prime Minister and his team, especially in the area of public safety. “Honest leadership, a place that loves peace, the blessings of the gods and goddesses and the hardworking Himachal people, all these are incomparable. Himachal has everything it needs to develop quickly”, concludes Shri Modi.
