CBSE’s Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022 application window will close on November 30

CBSE’s Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022 application window will close today, November 30. Eligible students can apply for it at cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in or use the link given below. This scholarship is for female students who are the only children of their parents, have passed the CBSE Class 10 board examination with 60% or more marks and are continuing their education in Class 11 and 12.

Girls born together are also considered unmarried girls as per CBSE rules. “All unmarried female students who have secured 60% or more marks in CBSE Class X examination and are studying in Class XI and XII in a school (affiliated to CBSE) whose tuition fee is not more than Rs. 1,500/- respectively during the academic year are taken into account for this purpose. In the next two years, the total tuition fee increase at such a school will not be more than 10% of the tuition fees charged,” an official statement said. The renewal deadline for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship awarded in 2021 is also 30 November.
