Renowned film producer Ekta Kapoor has returned to India after receiving the International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards in New York City. The accolade recognized Kapoor for her trailblazing career and significant impact on the Indian television landscape.

Ekta Kapoor was spotted at Mumbai airport, exuding joy as she proudly displayed her Emmy award. The film producer, known for her contributions to the entertainment industry, was captured in a casual look, holding the golden trophy and posing for the paparazzi.

Upon her return, social media erupted with congratulations and praise for Kapoor’s achievement. Fans and well-wishers commended her for making India proud, with messages expressing admiration and support.

Ekta Kapoor had previously shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a video of the award and stating, “India, I’m bringing home YOUR Emmy @iemmys.” She made history as the first Indian woman filmmaker to receive the International Emmy Directorate Award, recognizing her significant contributions to the arts and the industry.

In her acceptance speech at the event, Kapoor expressed gratitude to India, saying, “This award is for you, India, and all the Indians here! We are few, but we’re enough. This is for you, India. In your history, I find my stories, and in your strength and tenacity, I find my grit to my motherland. I am bringing home your Emmy.”

Ekta Kapoor, not resting on her laurels, has announced her next film starring Kartik Aaryan. The untitled project, directed by Sandeep Modi, is a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Balaji Motion Pictures, marking a significant partnership between Kapoor and Karan Johar after their previous collaboration in Dostana 2.
