Kulwinderjit Singh associated with Babbar Khalsa International and Khalistan Liberation Force, carrying a five lakh reward was arrested at Delhi Airport. Three years ago, he was declared an absconder and had a red corner notice issued against him by Interpol.
NIA said Singh alias Khanpuria, a native of Amritsar was arrested on his arrival from Bangkok. He was charged with cases pertaining to terror activities, including Punjab killings conspiracy. He was also involved in a bomb blast in Delhi’s Connaught Place and grenade attacks in some states in the nineties. He was declared a proclaimed offender by the NIA special court in Punjab.
