The holy city of Ayodhya witnessed a star-studded affair as Bollywood celebrities flocked to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The father-son duo, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, arrived together, exuding grace and reverence. Kangana Ranaut, accompanied by Fashion director Madhur Bhandarkar, posed elegantly at the Ram Mandir, showcasing their ethnic attires.
In a selfie shared, Kangana and Madhur smiled radiantly, with Kangana donning a white and red saree paired with an orange blouse and shawl. Madhur opted for a traditional white kurta-pyjama, complemented by a yellow jacket and beige shawl. Kangana shared glimpses of her Ayodhya visit on Instagram, expressing her reverence for the birthplace of Lord Ram.
Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were also captured in a video by our reporter, folding their hands in greeting as they arrived at the venue. Jackie Shroff, expressing his joy, stated, “Received a lot of love… How does it feel when you come to Lord’s temple? He called us here, it is big for us.” He suggested everyone remove their shoes before sitting near the temple.
At the event, renowned singer Sonu Nigam sang the Ram Siya Ram, setting a spiritual tone. Singers Anuradha Paudwal and Shankar Mahadevan also performed the Ram Bhajan ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, a historic ritual, took place in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and numerous distinguished guests. Bollywood luminaries, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Katrina Kaif, added glamour to the ceremony, making it a memorable and spiritually enriching occasion.
