BiteSpeed Secures $3.5M in Pre-Series A Funding to Boost Global Expansion and Product Innovation

AI-driven e-commerce solutions provider BiteSpeed has successfully raised $3.5 million in its latest Pre-Series A funding round, led by Peak XV’s Surge and backed by prominent investors like Whiteboard Capital, Gaurav Munjal (CEO, Unacademy), Aakash Anand (CEO, Bella Vita), and Dhruv Vohra (APAC Head, META). This funding brings BiteSpeed’s total capital raised to $5.6 million, following earlier rounds totaling $2.1 million with support from leading investors, including Kunal Shah (CRED), Ritesh Malik (Innov8), and Gaurav Sharma (SaaSLabs).

With its new funds, BiteSpeed plans to accelerate hiring in marketing, sales, and technical roles to fuel expansion into key global markets such as North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The startup also aims to enhance its generative AI capabilities, bolstering its product suite for e-commerce.

Vinayak Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of BiteSpeed, said, “This funding equips us to empower e-commerce brands with an AI-native suite that unifies customer engagement and drives substantial revenue growth. We’re excited to scale operations globally and make strategic R&D investments to redefine e-commerce.”

Founded in 2019 by Aggarwal and BITS Pilani graduates, BiteSpeed now serves over 2,500 Shopify brands across 50+ countries, including Skybags, Ugaoo, and Zouk. Its platform integrates customer communication channels like WhatsApp, Email, SMS, Instagram, and Push Notifications, driving over 25% additional revenue for its clients through personalized, data-driven engagement.
