Arjun Tendulkar’s failure to win a single game in Mumbai India has left many fans disappointed. Arjun, nominated by MI for R30 lakh at the big IPL auction ended up warming up the bench for the entire IPL 2022 season, except that MI was released early. From HrithikShokeen to Kumar Kartikeya, the majority of young people represent the franchise, with the exception of Arjun. MI bowling coach Shane Bond shared his thoughts on not getting an Arjun match this season, saying the 22-year-old still needs to hone his skills.
Commenting on the article, former India captain Kapil Dev famously said Arjun will always feel strong because of his surname. The standards set by the great Sachin Tendulkar are not easy for any modern batter to match, let alone his son. Kapil feels that Arjun should not be compared to his father and given his age, the younger should be allowed to play and more importantly, enjoy his game.

Arjun, who has been with the MI team for two seasons now but has not yet started making his first IPL, has no experience. Arjun has played only two T20 games in Mumbai in the T20 Mumbai League. Kapil feels that Arjun should not bear the brunt of the expectations, and adds that if he had been even half the player his father was, he would have done well.
