Indian Railways will introduce a new avatar of Vande Bharat high speed train

In a constant effort to provide the best facilities to the passengers, Indian Railways will introduce a new avatar of Vande Bharat high speed train i.e. Vande Bharat 2. Vande Bharat 2 will be equipped with additional improvements and improved features like 0 to 100 kmpl speed. in just 52 seconds, a maximum speed of up to 180 km/h, a lower weight of 392 tonnes instead of 430 tonnes and WI-FI content on demand. The new Vande Bharat will also have 32-inch LCD TVs, which were 24-inch in the earlier version.

 15 percent more energy efficient AC with dust-free cooling of the traction motor with clean air will make traveling more comfortable. The side folding seat facility provided to Executive class passengers will now be available for all classes. In the new Vande Bharat Express design, a photocatalytic ultraviolet air purification system is installed in the Roof Mounted Air Purification Roof Mounted Unit (RMPU). As recommended by the Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh, this system is designed and installed at both ends of the RMPU to filter and clean the air free of germs, bacteria, viruses etc. passing through the fresh air and return air.
