The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 2988 kg of heroin at Mundra port in Gujarat on September 13 last year. The consignment was smuggled by sea from Kandahar in Afghanistan via Bandar Abbas in Iran, the DRI said. The containers were originally declared to contain semi-processed talc and bituminous coal.
