Global Focus: Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense said China was continuing psychological warfare on the island

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that China’s military exercises violated United Nations rules, invaded Taiwan’s territorial space and blocked its air and sea, amid high tensions as US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the island.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense said the island will firmly defend its security, counter any move that violates territorial sovereignty, and strengthen its vigilance with the principle of not resorting to war.

The Ministry of Defense added during a press conference on Wednesday that China continues to wage psychological warfare on Taiwan and that citizens should not believe rumors and report any false news to the government.
