A woman and a man, both CISF constables who were reportedly in a relationship, were found hanging from their houses in the Lohegaon area here, allegedly by, city police said on Thursday. Both were 30 years old and deployed as Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) police officers at Pune International Airport.
“A woman was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her apartment around 10am on June 6. After hearing of her death, the suspect allegedly hung himself in her house,” senior detective Bharat Jadhav told Vimantal police station. No suicide notes were found in either area, he said. The woman was married and originally from Guwahati, and the man was unmarried. Police are conducting another investigation.
