Actor Salman Khan and boxer Nikhat Zareen had a very interesting exchange on Twitter after winning the gold medal at the Women’s World Boxing Championship. Nikhat Zareen won India a gold medal after defeating Thailand’s JutamasJitpong 5-0 in the 52kg final at Instanbul on Thursday, becoming the fifth Indian female boxer to win a world title. Although she received congratulations from around the world, including the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and Anushka Sharma in the entertainment industry, it was Salman’s message that Nikhat was eagerly awaited.
After winning the tournament, Nikhat revealed that he is a big fan of Salman Khan, even admitting that he loves her as he has refused to call her ‘bhai’ as his fans call her. Salman did not forget to congratulate Nikhat on finding out how much he loved her, and he made a wonderful request.
Nikhat was speaking to NDTV when asked if ‘Salman Bhai’ had congratulated him. In response, the boxer was embarrassed when he said, “Kaunbhai? Aapkabhai? Maine kabhibhainahikaha. Come on, I never called him ‘bhai’. Logon kabhaihogawoh, merijaanhai (Who is your brother? Your brother? I never called him my brother. He may be.” they are my brothers and sisters, to me he is my life).He added, “Salman, I’m a big fan. It ‘s my dream to meet him. Salman also saw the clip and sent it back, writing, “Congratzz on this gold Nikhat.” Nikhat said it was a ‘dream come true’ to receive the message from the actor and described it as a bad moment. She wrote on Twitter, “Becoming a die hard fan girl, It’s my dream come true. I couldn’t believe @BeingSalmanKhan could write me on Twitter. I’m so humble. Thank you so much for making my victory so much .
Salman made a wonderful request to Nikhat in return, and responded to his tweet “Don’t just take me out,” adding some funny emoji. He also wrote, “Lots love. Keep doing what you do and keep beating like my hero Sylvester Stallone.”

In addition to Salman, Nikhat received congratulatory messages from Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Anil Kapoor, among several other actors. Priyanka Chopra also shared Nikhat’s message, writing on Instagram Stories, “Never let them in! Congratulations @zareennikhat! (Applause). So, I’m proud (heart emojis) #WorldChampion.”
