MHA and SECI sign MoU to implement India’s green energy plan

As a step towards the Indian Government’s efforts to promote renewable energy and thus develop into a neutral economy, under the leadership of Union Minister Shri Amit Shah, the Department of Home Affairs has proposed the installation of Solar Energy Panels on Central campuses. Armed Forces (CAPF) and National Security (NSG). Accordingly, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on May 6, between the Department of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) in New Delhi, before the Union Secretary of State and Secretary, Home Affairs. and Renewable Energy.

The Umbrella MoU aims to work together between the two organizations to co-operate with the installation of Solar Rooftop PV Power Industries.Based on available data, Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has estimated a total of 71.68 Megawatts of total solar energy on CAPFs & NSG campuses. SECI, which specializes in the field of solar projects, will directly or indirectly support the agency or agencies selected by the bidding process, support MHA in the use of solar PV solar panels.
