I don’t know what’s going on in Virat ‘head: Sourav Ganguly has his say in Kohli’s decline

What’s wrong with Virat Kohli? – That is a hot question in Indian cricket right now. A former India captain who was confident uber is struggling to get runs, and until last year, the drought of Kohli’s century was a cause for concern, the current IPL has opened up a great deal of concern. With 1, 12, 0, 0 and 9 points in his last five innings, Kohli’s struggle has had a good record. When two gold-backed ducks ran the alarm bells, his 9-point scramble showed he was no longer the world champion Kohli who was leading the opposition team by swinging and hitting the runs for fun. Kohli faced 10 balls but appeared to come out three times in his first over from Trent Boult.

From Yuvraj, to Gavaskar to Shastri, almost everyone from the cricket team has expressed his opinion of Kohli and what he needs to do to get back to his free play. And now, one person with a recent history with Kohli has had his say in the hot topic of Indian cricket. BCCI president, SouravGanguly, last December, had an argument with Kohli over the decision of the former Indian captain to resign as captain, expressing his opinion on Kohli’s lack of runs. Not only Virat, Ganguly even mentioned Rohit Sharma’s low point series at IPL 2022.

“They are very good players and I am sure they will be back in form. I hope they start hitting runs soon. I don’t know what’s going on in ViratKohli’s head but I am sure he will get back to form and get good. He is running. He is a good player,” Ganguly told News18.

Last week, it was reported that there would be no blisters on the five T20I series between India and South Africa from the beginning of June. Balancing on the same lines, Ganguly said that if Covid-19 continues to decline in India, there may be no need for a bio-bubble in the IPL. This year, the Delhi Capitals unit was attacked by Covid and seven other infected people, including players Mitchell Marsh and Tim Siefert. Having said that, Ganguly has assured that BCCI will always be in the news about handling the Covid situation when it arises.

“If Covid charges do not increase in the country, bio-bubbles may not be needed in the IPL. But we will have to wait and see how long they will be able to play in one place. let’s live with it. [Regarding the BCCI in charge of the situation if necessary], let’s see what can be done, “he said.
