Union Minister inaugurates the CSIR-IIIM Bio-incubator in Jammu

64 startups are already registered with CSIR-IIIM Jammu and new impetus has been given to develop Startup as a separate source of livelihood, with the financial, technical and logistical support provided by the Union Department of Science and Technology through its various applicationsagencies and departments. Of these 64 StartUps, 14 have launched products and 4 have already reached the market.

 This is stated today by the Minister of State for Trade Unions (Independent Payment) Science and Technology; Minister of State (Independent Payment) Earth Science; MoS PMO, Workers, Public Complaints, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, during the launch of the CSIR-IIIM Jammu’s BioNEST-Bioincubator this morning, which will provide alternative livelihoods to thousands of young people in the region. Bio-NEST was introduced by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) to promote the biotech innovation ecosystem in the country.

He said, the event will inspire Beginners and help raise awareness of new livelihoods available across the country but not adequately addressed in the region due to lack of knowledge.

DrJitendra Singh told emerging entrepreneurs that this important national institution has announced the Aroma Mission, which has opened new avenues for employment and independence in the region. He said, Lavender has gained a lot of popularity from district farmers as Filtering, oil products and waste recycling are new alternatives from the people of the region. The Minister explained that this is a devastating achievement in the current economy as there is a great need in the country and overseas and it could benefit the country in important forex.

Dr. Jitendra Singh said, there is a need to spread the word that IIM Jammu is helping beginners grow sweet and lavender to sell their product. Prominent companies such as Mumbai based Ajmal Biotech Private Limited, Aditi International and NavnaitriGamika, etc., are the main buyers, he added. He added that the Dairy Start-up sector has been instrumental in promoting the establishment of modern dairy farms to produce pure milk, to promote the rearing of calves, and to establish self-employed people.

DrJitendra Singh said the stairs built by the various departments and structures of the Department of Science and Technology Exhibition at the Prime Minister’s meeting will showcase the latest technology and innovations that benefit rural and agricultural areas. The minister had already inspected the 500 KV Solar Solar Center and other Exhibition bodies on Tuesday at the Palli Panchayat of Samba District, which was completed during the recording.

DrJitendra Singh said the carbon-free solar plant has been installed at 6,408 square meters and completed in an 18-day record period and will provide clean electricity and light to 340 homes in Panchayat. It is made up of Central Electronics Limited, PSE under the auspices of the Department of Science and Industrial Research, the Department of Science and Technology Union, the Minister said.

Dr. Jitendra Singh informed that some of the themes identified in the Exhibition are: poverty and rural health development, healthy village, child-friendly village, adequate water district, clean and green environment, adequate local infrastructure, and residential development. the implementation of the various departments of Science Ministries will bring about a dynamic shift in increasing the income of the rural family.

Similarly, the Minister said, Stables representing the integration of Science and Technology and Rural Development Panels and the Panchayati Raj will be built for the benefit of the common people. He added that instead of having regular shops at the event, efforts were being made to showcase the latest technology that adds value to farmers’ income and a science-based exhibition featuring Panchayati Raj.
