Two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists Fatal Encounter in J&K with Heroic Sacrifice of Three police Officers

In a solemn tribute to the unwavering valor of Col Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonak, and DSP Humayun Bhat, who laid down their lives leading from the front during the ongoing operation, the Kashmir Zone Police revealed on Thursday that they have successfully “encircled” two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists in Anantnag district. This development comes in the aftermath of a tragic encounter on Wednesday, during which three security officers lost their lives.

The commanding officer of 19 Rashtriya Rifles, a major-ranked officer, and a Deputy Superintendent of Police were killed in a courageous and fatal encounter with the terrorists at Gadole in Kokernag area of Anantnag district. As the nation mourns the loss of these brave officers, the Jammu and Kashmir Police continue their relentless pursuit of justice by tightening the noose around LeT operatives, ensuring that their heroic sacrifice will not be in vain.
