Congress president Rahul Gandhi took participate in Silicon Valley startups & knowing work in artificial intelligence

Congress president Rahul Gandhi spent the first half of his day Wednesday with Silicon Valley startups known for pioneering work in artificial intelligence and high-tech.

Sitting in the front row of the Plug and Play Hall along with Indian Overseas Congress President Sam Pitroda and other key aides who traveled with him from India, Gandhi was engrossed in a panel discussion by experts on various aspects of artificial intelligence.

 Big data, machine learning and its impact on humanity in general and on issues such as governance, social security measures as well as disinformation and disinformation.

The Plug and Play Tech Center, based in Sunnyvale, California, is one of the largest startup incubators. According to its CEO and founder Saeed Amidi, more than 50 percent of startup founders at Plug and Play were Indian or Indian-American.

Participating in a fireside chat with Amidi and Shaun Shankaran, founder of FixNix Startup, Gandhi tried to connect all the technology with the impact it would have on the common man in the remote villages of India.

“If you want to spread any kind of technology in India, you have to have a system where the power is relatively decentralized,” he answered a question before sharing his personal experience with drones with a select group of invited entrepreneurs. technology and its regulation, which he said “faced massive bureaucratic hurdles”.

However, on the issue of Pegasus spyware and similar technologies, Gandhi told the audience that he was not worried about it. At one point he said he knew his phone was being tapped. And jokingly he said: “Hello! Mr Modi” on his iPhone.

“I assume my iPhone is being tapped.” You have to set rules with regard to privacy of data information as a nation and also as an individual,” he said.

“If a nation state decides they want to tap your phone, no one can stop you. That’s my point,” he said. “If a nation is interested in wiretapping, then it’s not a battle worth fighting. I think whatever I do and work is at the disposal of the government,” he stated.
