The website namely “Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot” was launched by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on 14 October 2022 to contribute to the Armed Forces Battle Victim Welfare Fund to provide financial assistance to the families of soldiers who were injured or died during military operations. However, the fund has existed since 2016.

The Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot website has been launched so that spirited Indian citizens, corporates, banks and leading organizations can directly contribute to the Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund (AFBCWF), which provides immediate financial assistance to soldiers’ families. haunted their lives or were injured during military operations.
