Special 2.0 campaign focusing on Swachhata, promoting cleanliness, good governance run till October 31

The Union Government launched a special 2.0 campaign on October 2, which will run till October 31, 2022, under which all Ministries/Departments are focusing on Swachhata, promoting cleanliness, good governance and ease of living while reducing compliance burden and dependency. Government. The special campaign 2.0 draws inspiration from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi‘s vision and mission to institutionalize Swachhata and minimize dependency in government.

Under the “Special Campaign 2.0”, activities related to cleanliness, revision and simplification of rules and procedures, revision of records management system, productive use of space and disposal of waste materials are carried out in all departments and ministries, which enhance the work experience. Until October 25, 2022

The campaign met with tremendous enthusiasm from all Ministries / Ministries of the Government of India and their associated and subordinate offices. Various departments have adopted a holistic and integrated approach to cleaning the surrounding areas, rivers, lakes and ponds. This kind of effort ensured cleanliness around the water bodies and thus furthered the larger objective of the Swachhata campaign. The progress of the special 2.0 campaign garnered a huge response on social media with numerous social media activities undertaken by the ministry and ministries. The Special Campaign 2.0 has been embraced in true spirit by the Ministry of Water Resources as the following steps have been taken:

•Nodal Officers are nominated in the department to ensure cleanliness.

•Control meetings on the progress of the campaign are initiated by the secretary with senior officers. The secretary inspected the premises of the office and ordered certain activities to be carried out and also motivated the employees to reduce the demands and ensure cleanliness inside the sections.

• Data including images and videos are uploaded to social media sites, highlighting the work done by various ministries and organizations across the country.
