In a stellar achievement, two candidates emerged as joint toppers in the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final November 2024 examinations, as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared the results late Thursday night. Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati clinched the all-India first rank with an impressive score of 508 marks, translating to 84.67 percent.
Ahmedabad’s Riya Kunjankumar Shah followed closely, securing the second rank with 501 marks and an 83.50 percent score. Meanwhile, Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata took the third spot with 493 marks, achieving 82.17 percent.
The results marked a significant milestone, with 11,500 candidates successfully qualifying as Chartered Accountants. Out of 66,987 candidates who appeared for Group 1 of the examination, 11,253 passed, registering a pass percentage of 16.8. Group 2 saw 49,459 candidates appear, of whom 10,566 cleared the exam, achieving a pass percentage of 21.36. For those who attempted both groups, 30,763 candidates participated, and 4,134 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 13.44.
Candidates can access their individual results and the merit list on the ICAI’s official portal, icai.nic.in, by using their registration numbers and roll numbers.
The examinations were conducted earlier in November, with Group 1 held on November 3, 5, and 7, and Group 2 on November 9, 11, and 13.
This year’s results have not only highlighted exceptional individual performances but also underscored the rigorous standards of the CA examinations.
