International Yoga day: PM’s Yoga programme at Mysore is part of an innovative programme ‘Guardian Yoga Ring’

One of the great benefits of yoga is how it helps a person manage stress, which is known to have harmful effects on the body and mind. Drs. Nevins states: “Depression can manifest itself in many ways, including back or neck pain, sleep problems, headaches, substance abuse, and inability to concentrate. “Yoga can be very effective in developing coping skills and achieving a positive outlook on life.”

The combination of Yoga meditation and breathing can help improve a person’s mental well-being. “The practice of regular yoga creates a sense of calm and tranquility; increases body awareness; releases patterns of chronic stress; it relaxes the mind; focuses attention; and it sharpens the mind,” says Drs. Nevins. Physical awareness and self-awareness are especially beneficial, he adds, “because they can help detect physical problems early and allow for early prevention.”

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi participated with thousands of participants in the Mass Yoga Exhibition at Mysore Palace ground, Mysuru at the 8th International Yoga Day (IDY) celebrations today. Karnataka Governor Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Prime Minister Shri Basavaraj Bommai, and Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal were among those present. Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister said the yogic power, developed for centuries by Indian air centers such as Mysuru, today provides direction to global health. Today yoga becomes the basis of globalization and provides a healthy belief in humanity, he added. He said today we see that Yoga has gone from house to house and has spread all over the world and this is a picture of spiritual awareness, as well as human natural and shared awareness, especially in the last two years of the unprecedented epidemic.

“Yoga is now a global festival. Yoga is not just for everyone, but for all mankind. Therefore, in this case the theme of World Yoga Day is – Traditional Yoga ”, he said. He thanked the United Nations and all countries for taking the article around the world. Quoting Indian scholars, the Prime Minister emphasized that “Yoga brings peace to us. The peace that comes from yoga is not just a personal one. Yoga brings peace to our community. Yoga brings peace to our nations and to the world. Also, Yoga brings peace to our universe. ”, He continued,“ It all begins in our bodies and in our souls. The atmosphere begins with us. Also, Yoga makes us aware of everything inside us and creates a sense of awareness ” The Prime Minister noted that India is celebrating Yoga Day as the country celebrates 75 years of independence, Amrit Mahotsav. This widespread acceptance of Yoga Day, the Prime Minister said, was the acceptance of that Amrit spirit of India that gave strength to the Indian liberation
