Royal Challengers Bangalore, who named Virat Kohli as their captain for their match against Rajasthan Royals, were fined on Monday after his team maintained a slow overdrive during their IPL clash on Sunday.
As it was his team’s second offense of the season under the IPL Code of Conduct regarding minimum overs, Virat Kohli was fined 24 million rupees and each member of the playing eleven, including the substitute, was fined 6 or 25 rupees. percentage of the match fee, whichever is lower, the IPL said in a report.
RCB beat Royals by seven runs
Earlier this season, Virat Kohli was fined 10 per cent of his match fees for “pleading to a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct” after RCB’s match against Chennai Super Kings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here.
