Traffic rules change: 10,000 challans will reach the house of those who drive without PUC certificate

Vehicles without PUC will no longer be allowed to ply on Delhi roads. The problems of vehicle owners driving in Delhi without a valid pollution certificate will now increase. The Delhi government’s transport department may start sending notices to vehicle owners who do not have valid PUC certificates. Those drivers who do not have PUC certificate will have to pay 10 thousand rupees in the form of challan. Let us tell you that the Kejriwal government is taking many steps to deal with the problem of air pollution in Delhi.

Apart from Red Light On, Car Off on Delhi roads, Anti Dust Campaign and Anti Open Burning Campaign etc. were managed by the Ministry of Environment. In such a situation, the Department of Transport is also trying to reduce air pollution at its own level. In this direction, preparations are now underway to restrict the operation of vehicles without pollution under control (PUC).

According to family department officials, a large number of PUC-free vehicles ply on Delhi roads. The fumes emanating from these vehicles worsen the city’s climate. About 17,24,891 cars are said to have had their Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate expired. The department of transport is preparing to intensify the intervention against all these vehicles.

The ministry has made it clear and clear that action will be taken against those without PUCC, which prescribes a fine of 10 thousand or imprisonment for six months. Or there may be both challan and penalty. In addition, the driver’s license can be revoked for up to 3 months.
