The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) issued the “Draft Telecommunications (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Interconnection (Addressable Systems) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2022″ on 9 September 2022 for comments/counter-comments from stakeholders. The last date for receiving written comments from interested parties was set to 7 October 2022 and any counter-comments to 21 October 2022.
Stakeholders have requested an extension of the deadline for submitting their comments on the “Draft Telecommunications (Broadcasting and Cable) Interconnection (Addressable Systems) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2022”. With this in mind, it has been decided to extend the deadline for submitting written comments until November 4, 2022.
Any counter-comments can also be submitted until November 18, 2022. No further extension requests will be considered. Comments and counter-comments can be sent preferably in electronic form to e-mail: advbcs-2@trai.gov.in and jtadv-bcs@trai.gov.in.
