Dr. Jitendra Singh also proposed the Science News Center, which will serve as the Ministerial Integrated Media Cell for all S&T departments and VigyanPrasar will be integrated into it. He asked existing departments and officials to advertise the success stories of the departments and beginners and advertise themselves where possible. He also instructed that a workshop on success stories should be organized from time to time.

comprehensive review of the draft agenda

During the meeting, DrJitendra Singh made a comprehensive review of the draft agenda of the upcoming S&T Provincial Ministerial Conference and areas such as Srinagar, Shimla, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad were discussed at the first National Science Conclave. The Minister suggested that meaningful and stakeholder discussions could be included in the Conclave involving provinces, industry representatives and other stakeholders.
