Shehnaaz Gill talked about her journey from Punjabi films to now acting in a film with Salman Khan. The actress, who is busy promoting her first Bollywood film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, recalled in a new interview how she was ‘completely cut off’ by the Punjabi film industry. She revealed how she was not invited to the premiere of her own film and that hurt her the most.
Shehnaaz gill said she cried after not being invited to the premiere of her Punjabi film, though she did not say which film she was talking about. Shehnaaz Gill made her Punjabi acting debut with Sat Shri Akaal England (2017). Since then she has worked in Punjabi films like Kala Shah Kala, Daaka and Honsla Rakh.
When asked to share her two tough moments that she can never forget, Shehnaaz said in an interview to Siddharth Kannan, “Everybody was called for the premiere of my Punjabi film but not me. They asked me to come and then they canceled it. After watching movie, I saw the cast posing for photographers as I was leaving the theater. I remember crying as I sat in the car wondering why they didn’t call me when everyone else did.”

Shehnaaz also said “I have a lot of struggled. The Punjabi film industry cut me off completely. But as they say ‘who has no one has God’. I have God. It’s all karma).
Shehnaaz Gill, who appeared in Bigg Boss 13, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The action film also stars Bhumika Chawla, Pooja Hegde and Raghav Juyal among others. Apart from Shehnaaaz, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is also the Bollywood debut of actor Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari. The film will be released in theaters on April 21.
