Comedian Raju Srivastav passed away at the age of 58. He was treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after the cardiac arrest.The news of his death was confirmed by his family. The 58-year-old stand-up comedian was admitted to AIIMS on August 10.
According to reports, the comedian died at 10:15 am today. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after he experienced chest pain and collapsed while working out in the gym. Since the late eighties, Raju Srivastava has worked in the entertainment industry.
In 2005, Raju Srivastava gained recognition after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.” He also acted in films like “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya”, “Main”. Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ and in several others.
