Health Focus: India’s Pharma Vision 2047 and roadmap for the Indian pharmaceutical sector

The Minister of Chemical, Fertilizer and Family Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya encouraged champions and leaders of the pharmaceutical industry during the collaboration with the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Pharma Vision 2047 of India and a road map of the Indian pharmaceutical industry.  Echoing the Prime Minister’s view of acquiring Aatmanirbharta in all sectors, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya aims to make the medical profession jump on the bandwagon of growth for years to come. Our policies are based on comprehensive and comprehensive stakeholder consultation that provide the basis for a comprehensive, long-term and healthy policy process ”.

At the same time, he added that “we need to move forward with Pharma Industry at the forefront of leading and promoting its models and programs in increasing production capacity, investing in new technologies and focusing on research and development. Government will strengthen the sector by improving policies and operational programs such as PLI that support quality research ”. Apart from the policy, Drs. Mandaviya also focused on investment in research and development, effective manufacturing skills and the creation of more innovative opportunities that are needed for an hour now. He hoped that with these measures we would be able to build a vibrant ecosystem for the sector.

The Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance discussed and highlighted various issues such as policy stability, innovation, regulatory framework and facilitation that includes transparency and accountability, CDSCO review process, regular monitoring of implementation, pricing and associated controls, investment in targeted infrastructure to give impetus. research on innovation, expansion of chemical production and API to increase exports, digitalization to maximize information sharing, use of medical education and increased access to quality health care, and how to recommend “Brand India” by investing in the beginning. -inclining and collaborating with education to get the best possible results.
