Smt Droupadi Murmu presented the 68th National Film Awards in various categories in Delhi

The President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu presented the 68th National Film Awards in various categories today (September 30, 2022) in Delhi. People also expect films that will increase compassion and unity in society, accelerate the pace of development, and strengthen efforts to protect the environment.

She was pleased to note that the films that won awards today highlight important national issues of nature and environment, culture, social values ​​and other important aspects. The President said that Indian films are welcomed all over the world. To use this soft power more effectively, we need to improve the quality of our films. She noted that films made in one region are increasingly popular in other regions as well. She said that in this way cinema binds all people.
