Today Special: January 12, “National Youth Day”, Swami ji Jayanti: An Inspirable man

Today is Youth Day and I want to share something special with you on this.In this direction, the day was January 12, 1863 when Narendranath Dutt was born in Calcutta, his mind was more towards spirituality from the beginning and because of this, after adopting the spiritual path, he was known as Swami Vivekananda. Every year in our country India, 12 January is celebrated as National Youth Day (National Youth Day 2023). There are many things related to him, which no one can forget, there is a different power in his thoughts, which works to fill enthusiasm and gives the right direction to whoever brings them in his life.

Let’s talk about the 19th century, when he traveled the world and worked to spread the teachings of religion, knowledge and yoga to the masses. Everyone is aware of this thing, even today it seems as fresh as it is today, the discussion of the historic speech given by him in Chicago, in which only by saying ‘my American brothers and sisters’, as many people as possible in the whole assembly All of them did not stop clapping for 2 minutes and thus the whole hall echoed with applause.

Friends, if you judge someone’s qualities by looking at their external environment, then it is your biggest foolishness because this country is the same India where many such great personalities, great men, heroes and one of them is Swami Vivekananda.

It is necessary to mention one special thing related to them, who did not change their environment even after going to another country. It’s not that he didn’t know the local language and dress, he knew everything, yet he was proud of who we are and where we are from and because of this he had closed the mouth of good people. This person is none other than

Swami Vivekananda often used to wear the clothes of a simple monk. And while traveling abroad, he was roaming in this form one day. That’s why a foreigner pulled Swami ji’s turban while teasing him. Swami ji asked the reason in his own language English. The foreigner got scared as to how such a man dressed as a monk knows English so well and asked in trembling tongue.

Are you educated? Then Swami Vivekananda politely replied ‘Yes! I am educated and a gentleman. Then the foreigner said “Looking at your clothes, it doesn’t seem like that. To this Swamiji politely replied” In your country a tailor makes a person educated, but “In my country my behavior makes me a gentleman.” Hearing such an answer, the foreigner realized his mistake. And today there are many such people in our own country who are seen doing such stupidity because there are many people who have forgotten their cultures and their costumes. May be and disagree, it is your choice.

There is a need to make such forgotten people understand that other people have gone to their country after learning from our people and why we are running behind the outer shell which has no meaning because there is no connection with such an idea. This is India where Shri Krishna ji gave this knowledge through Gita that “work is worship” without it life is useless. What can be bigger than this?
