PM Narendra Modi Signs First File After Third Swearing-In, Authorizes Release of PM Kisan Nidhi Instalment

New Delhi — Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after being sworn in for a historic third term, signed his first file on Sunday, authorizing the release of the 17th instalment of the PM Kisan Nidhi. This move will benefit 9.3 crore farmers across the country, distributing approximately Rs 20,000 crores.

The PM Kisan Nidhi, a flagship scheme of the government, provides financial assistance to farmers to ensure their welfare and support the agriculture sector. By releasing this instalment, the government continues its commitment to improving the livelihoods of farmers.

After signing the file, PM Modi emphasized the government’s dedication to farmer welfare. “Ours is a Government fully committed to Kisan Kalyan. It is therefore fitting that the first file signed on taking charge is related to farmer welfare. We want to keep working even more for the farmers and the agriculture sector in the times to come,” he stated.

The Prime Minister’s swift action underscores the importance of the agriculture sector and the government’s focus on supporting farmers. The timely release of funds aims to provide much-needed financial relief and support to millions of farmers, ensuring they have the resources necessary to sustain and enhance their agricultural activities.

This move aligns with the broader vision of the government to strengthen the agricultural economy, enhance productivity, and improve the overall standard of living for farmers. With the release of the 17th instalment, the government reiterates its ongoing commitment to fostering a prosperous and self-reliant farming community.
