The BJP will go all out to make the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s ‘Mann ki Baat’ radio broadcast an “unprecedented” mass outreach program and plans to organize facilities for people at an average of 100 locations in each constituency across the country listen to it.
PM Narendra Modi speaks on various issues during his monthly broadcast every last Sunday of the month. BJP sources said the party will make arrangements at about four thousand places, including abroad, for people to hear Modi’s speech, with party president JP Nadda overseeing the entire exercise to make it a “historic” success.
Overseas units of the party and several non-political organizations were also involved to ensure that the radio broadcasts had maximum reach.
Arrangements have been made at all Raj Bhawans, the official residences of governors and the homes of chief ministers from the BJP or its allies, to allow prominent citizens to listen to the programme, they said.
Padma awardees from all states have been invited to attend functions at Raj Bhavans, they said. BJP MPs and MLAs will oversee the exercise in their respective constituencies, while Nadda and other senior party leaders will hold a series of video conferences in this regard.
