In another shocking revelation in the Mehrauli murder case, accused Aaftab Amin Poonawala is now believed to have claimed that after killing his partner Shraddha Walkar, he burnt her face to conceal her identity, sources reported. The revelation comes ahead of Thursday’s production of Aaftab . The Delhi Police sought a narco-test of Aaftaba as the accused had been changing his statements since the beginning of the investigation.
After confessing to killing Shraddha on May 18 following an argument over some domestic issues, Aaftab revealed many gruesome details about how he chopped up the body and stored the parts in a new 300-litre fridge to dispose of the body parts at night. in nearby forest areas without arousing suspicion.
Delhi Police sought a narco test on Aaftab to find out if he is telling the truth or trying to deflect the investigation. According to Aaftab’s confession, the police said that Aaftab first disposed of Shraddha’s liver and intestines while keeping the head in the freezer for some time. The police have not yet traced Shraddh’s skull.
1. On May 18, Aaftab strangled Shraddha Walkar between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM after they argued over who would bring their household items from Vasai.
2. The next day, Aaftab brought a new freezer and a knife to cut the body into 35 parts.

5. On May 26, he operated a mobile banking application on Shraddha’s phone to transfer ₹54,000.
6. On May 31, he used Shraddha’s Instagram account to reply to someone — to avoid any suspicion.
7. According to reports, Aaftab brought another woman to his apartment while parts of Shraddha’s body were still in the freezer.
8. Aaftab was in Mumbai for two weeks before his arrest to help his family move to a new place.
9. Aaftab was called for questioning by the Maharashtra police after Shraddha’s father filed a missing complaint.
10. Aaftab was arrested by the Delhi Police. Around the same time, he was fired from his place of work due to long absences from work.
