Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu to celebrate national celebrations “Panchayati Raj Diwas”

DrJitendra Singh said the tables set up by the various departments and departments of the Union Science and Technology Department will showcase the latest technology and innovations that benefit rural and agricultural areas. The minister had already inspected the 500 KV Solar Solar Center and other Exhibition bodies on Tuesday at the Palli Panchayat of Samba District, which was completed during the recording.

DrJitendra Singh said the carbon-free solar plant has been installed at 6,408 square meters and completed in an 18-day record period and will provide clean electricity and light to 340 homes in Panchayat. It is made up of Central Electronics Limited, PSE under the auspices of the Department of Science and Industrial Research, the Union Department of Science and Technology, the Minister said.

DrJitendra Singh informed that some of the themes identified at the Exhibition are: Poverty and Rural Development, Healthy Village, Children’s Village, Adequate Water Village, Clean and Green Zone, Adequate Local Infrastructure, Community Development they are at home.

Similarly, the Minister said, Stables reflecting the integration of Science and Technology and the themes of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj will be set up for the benefit of the common people. He added that instead of having regular shops at the event, efforts were being made to showcase the latest technology that adds value to farmers’ income and a science-based exhibition featuring Panchayati Raj.

Dr. Jitendra Singh also reviewed with senior CSIR scientists the Aroma Mission and the overall impact of the Purple Revolution on increasing the income of ordinary people. He said, “Purple Revolution” is a contribution of Jammu and Kashmir to “Start-ups India”. The Minister informed that the CSIR should, first, introduce a lavender crop of high value essential oil through its Jammu laboratory, the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicines (IIIM) to be grown in Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri and later other regions. which includes Ramban, Pulwama, etc. In the short term, the cultivation of aroma / lavender has become a staple in early agricultural agriculture, he said.

DrJitendra Singh said, there was a need for more publicity on the fact that IIM Jammu was assisting Beginners in the production of aromatic and lavender products to market their products. Prominent companies such as Mumbai based Ajmal Biotech Private Limited, Aditi International and NavnaitriGamika, etc., are the main buyers, he added.

It is worth mentioning that the Aroma Mission attracts Beginners and Farmers from all over the country, and during Phase I CSIR helped cultivate 6,000 hectares and covered 46 Aspirational districts across the country. More than 44,000 people have been trained and the amount of money farmers are earning. In the second phase of the Aroma Mission, it is proposed to use the resources of more than 45,000 skilled people with the aim of benefiting more than 75,000 farming families across the country.

DrJitendra Singh also expressed satisfaction that more and more professionals are leaving the lucrative profession in the corporate sector and are launching DBT-promoted dairy products. He said more than 10,000 milk units were established in the last two years in Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, the Minister met with DinkarKaushal, a B.Tech, who resigned from Bengaluru and introduced Sahiwal cow milk production under the Department of Biological Technology and a well-paid. The Minister said, these programs should be implemented across UT to give young people better opportunities to earn money.

He said there were many opportunities for the Dairy Start-up to promote the establishment of modern dairy farms to produce clean milk, promote calf rearing, and earn a living.
