Jerusalem: The Israeli military claimed on Friday that its fighter jets killed several key Hezbollah commanders in southern Lebanon, including Muhammad Ali Ismail, the commander of Hezbollah’s missile unit, and his deputy. According to the Israeli statement on Telegram, the strikes targeted those responsible for multiple acts of terrorism, including rocket attacks on Israel and the recent launch of a surface-to-surface missile towards central Israel.
The Israeli military also reported the elimination of Ibrahim Muhammad Kabisi, another senior official in Hezbollah’s missile and rocket operations, along with other high-ranking Hezbollah members.
Hezbollah has yet to confirm or deny the Israeli claims regarding the deaths of these commanders. Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated amid ongoing regional conflicts.
