Union Minister Shri Gadkari urges companies to take advance action to all faulty collections of Electric Vehicles

Transportation is an essential element of modern life, but the traditional burning engine quickly becomes obsolete. Petrol or diesel cars are highly polluting and are quickly replaced by fully electric vehicles. EVs are partial or partially electric vehicles. Electric vehicles have low operating costs as they have slow-moving parts and are environmentally friendly as they use little or no natural fuel petrol or diesel.

The Minister of Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari said many faults involving electric wheels were made public two months ago. The worst thing is that some people have lost their lives and many are injured in these incidents. In a series of tweets on Thursday, Shri Gadkari said companies could take steps to remember all collections of vehicles with immediate disability. He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi our government was committed to ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Special Committee of Experts

The Minister announced that a Special Committee of Experts had been formed to investigate the incidents and make recommendations on remedial measures. He said according to reports, the required directives would be issued to law enforcement agencies and guidelines that quality-centric electric vehicles would also be issued soon.

Shri Gadkari said if any company was found to be negligent in its plans, a heavy fine would be levied and all vehicles with disabilities would be returned.
