Election Commission is developing a prototype of remote voting system for domestic migrant voters and being protested by opposition parties

The Election Commission has prepared a new voting formula, due to which many opposition parties have raised objections, some say that this is not correct, this type of voting will encourage bogus voting and there will be no transparency in voting. Actually, remote voting system has been made and DMK, TMC and Congress are protesting against this. The Election Commission says that many times people are not able to vote only because of the change of place i.e. due to living from one state to another and people living in these other states can vote from where they are.

How this remote voting system will work.

In order to explain how this system will work and how different it is, its live demo has been kept on January 16 to inform political parties about it. However, since the announcement of the Election Commission, the opposition parties are opposing it and in this way the opposition seems to be divided into two parts regarding the protest.

Now with the advent of remote voting system, the person will not need to return home for voting. Because remote voting spots will be made in every city, where people will be able to vote. Voting will be done with a machine just like EVM. According to the same Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, this process will be beneficial for those people whose attitude is not to vote. This machine can bring a revolutionary change as at least 72 constituencies can be covered easily from one polling booth.
