Here are the top reasons why a student chooses to study abroad:

1. More options than traditional courses

Despite India’s rapid progress in higher education, colleges often teach traditional subjects rather than new ones and students are forced to study them. Many of these subjects often include science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This leaves them with no choice but to look at study options abroad in order to pursue their chosen studies.

One of the main reasons why many Indian students today want to study abroad is because their study choice has never been accepted or is not common in India! Although you encounter any of the colleges and universities that offer these courses, these institutions do not have the capacity to provide career options that are desirable for students. There are also many opportunities to access these less-explored and rare courses in countries such as the U.S., the UK, and Canada.

2. Accessibility

In India, millions of students are competing hard to get their dream courses and later their dream jobs due to the large number of people. Admission to top colleges with fewer seats is more competitive. These days they have the option to avoid this rat race and pursue their dream studies abroad if they have a degree and financial security. As the admission process is simpler, Indian students today prefer to study abroad.

3. Immigration

Most Indian students pursue foreign studies primarily because they want to stay in the country. Countries like Canada and the US welcome more immigrants to their home country these days by giving them better job opportunities. A recent study revealed that, after completing their undergraduate studies, 80 percent of students from Asian countries chose to remain abroad. Studying abroad is considered a good opportunity for many Indians to stay in the game.

4 Find a different culture

One of the great benefits of studying abroad for many international students is the opportunity to immerse yourself in a completely different environment & different cultures. For example, while living abroad you will be able to try new foods, hear folk music, go to local activities and check out everything else the host country has to offer you. It’s also fun to see your culture through someone else’s eyes one – you can learn a lot about yourself and your country this way!

6.  Learn a new language

Another great benefit of learning abroad is the opportunity to learn a new language. Learning a language can be a real challenge, but it is not the same as living in a place where that language is spoken. Since English is the official language of the world, it would be good to learn in a country like the USA or the UK. You will be able to learn English, communicate with locals and improve your language skills.
