Actor Randeep Hooda is all set to play the role of a police informer in Netflix’s upcoming crime thriller CAT. Directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, the trailer of the film was released on Friday. It promises an action-packed story set in Punjab that focuses on a brother’s love and espionage. The trailer features Randeep Hooda as Gurnam Singh, who was once a police informer. After years of donning a new identity and a shift in life, he is forced to revive his work. To save his brother, he enters the underworld of crime, politics and corruption to break up a thriving drug cartel in Punjab.
Apart from Randeep, CAT also has Suvinder Vicky, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Aggarwal, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, KP Singh, Kavya Thapar, Danish Sood and Pramod Pathal among others. It is produced by Movie Tunnel Productions in association with Jelly Bean Entertainment. It will be available in Punjabi, Hindi and English and is slated to release on December 9.

I am absolutely thrilled with CAT and how Balli (Balwinder Singh Janjua) has brought authenticity and genuineness to every scene.”
