Semiconductors will be the defining technology of this era. The team and capabilities being developed at 3rdiTech represent a new India under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. GA-ASI will work with 3rdiTech, one of the inaugural winners of the Indian Ministry of Defense’s flagship iDEX program, to translate this cutting-edge capability into some from Indian platforms,
Lall talked “General Atomics is committed to supporting Prime Minister Modi’s vision of an Atmanirbhar India, and partnerships like this are a big step in the right direction”.
A task force set up by the US Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) in collaboration with the India Electronics Semiconductor Association (IESA) with the Indian government’s semiconductor mission to develop a “readiness assessment” to identify near-term industry opportunities and facilitate longer-term strategic development of complementary semiconductor ecosystems, said White House a day early.
This task force will make recommendations to the Department of Commerce and the India Semiconductor Mission on the opportunities and challenges to be overcome to further strengthen India’s role in the global semiconductor value chain and will also provide inputs to the US-India trade dialogue.
