Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth attended the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on Saturday, captivating fans with their heartfelt interaction. A video shared on Instagram shows the duo exchanging warm greetings, with Rajinikanth attempting to touch Amitabh’s feet as a mark of respect.
However, Amitabh quickly stopped him, holding his hands and giving him a hug instead. The two legends then shook hands and conversed briefly. Amitabh sported a colorful sherwani and shawl, while Rajinikanth was dressed in a white outfit.

The video of their interaction garnered widespread admiration on social media. Fans expressed their appreciation for the mutual respect and humility displayed by the two icons. The Shubh Aashirwad ceremony saw the attendance of several prominent personalities from the entertainment industry. Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, and Hema Malini were among the notable guests. Other attendees included Shanaya Kapoor, Disha Paatani, Khushi Kapoor, Sachin Tendulkar, and Sania Mirza. The ceremony also featured appearances by Rashmika Mandanna, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Venkatesh Daggubati, Shahid Kapoor, and his wife, Mira Rajput.
Vidya Balan, along with actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, were also present at the event. For the occasion, Radhika Merchant donned a lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, in collaboration with artist Jayasri Burman. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant exchanged vows in a grand wedding ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Friday.
