Star Akshay Kumar on Wednesday thanked his fans for his unconditional love over the years as he celebrated 30 years in the Indian film industry. Raj Films celebrated the actor’s special historic event by presenting a new historical drama poster featuring every film he starred in.
Yash Raj Films’s Twitter account posted a video, in which Kumar unveiled a special poster in front of “Prithviraj” director ChandraprakashDwivedi.”I didn’t even realize I was in my 30s. Thank you Aditya Chopra for giving me this gift. I still remember doing my first shot at Ooty, it was an action shot with Bob Christo,” Kumar, who starred. in more than 100 films, it says in the video.
“Your journey, from ‘Saugandh’ to ‘Prithviraj,” Dwivedi, best known for directing and starring in television drama “Chanakya” and Partition film “Pinjar”, adds.Kumar also shared the video on Twitter. Kumar, whose real name is Rajiv Bhatia, made his debut film with Raj Sippy’s romantic act “Saugandh”, which was released on January 25, 1991.
The actor went on to become one of the biggest action stars of the 1990s, with hits similar to the “Khiladi” series, and changed gears and made jokes with Priyadarshan’s “Hera Pheri” over the next decade. Kumar introduced a few hot songs in comedy genre , which includes films such as “MujhseShaadiKarogi”, “Garam Masala”, “Welcome” and “Singh is Kinng”. By “Toilet: EkPrem Katha” (2017), “Padman” (2018), and – “Mission Mangal” (2019), a 54-year-old actor resembled films that promote social and national issues.
“Prithviraj” also starred Sanjay Dutt, SonuSood and marks the screen appearance of Miss World 2017 ManushiChhillar, who plays the role of Sananyogita.
