Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with her daughter Aaradhya, made a dazzling appearance at the SIIMA Awards 2024 in Dubai. Known for her iconic red carpet moments, Aishwarya’s ensemble this time, however, left fashion critics unimpressed.
The star attended the event in a black embellished anarkali gown, adorned with shimmering gold sequin patterns. The floor-length gown featured full sleeves, a raised bandhgala collar with a V-slit, and a flowing silhouette. Aishwarya paired the gown with a black zari dupatta featuring matching golden sequins and tasseled jhumkis along the borders, draped elegantly over her shoulder.

Her look was accessorized minimally with dangling gold earrings and a statement ring. She completed the ensemble with coral pink lips, winged eyeliner, light contouring, and her auburn-highlighted hair styled in a side parting.
Aaradhya twinned with her mother in a black kurta-palazzo set, with silver embellishments instead of gold. Her outfit included a round neckline and full-length trumpet sleeves, showcasing a relaxed yet stylish silhouette.
Despite the underwhelming reception to her look, Aishwarya bagged the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) award for her performance in Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam. The mother-daughter duo’s appearance drew significant attention, with fans capturing the pair arriving hand-in-hand and posing for pictures at the star-studded event.
