NASA is exhibiting plans to launch a spacecraft to Mars for 30 days

The organization aims its 30-day, two-day trip to Mars on Tuesday (May 17) and called on the public to provide feedback on how the planning is going. Submissions were due to start on May 31, but that deadline has just been extended to June 3.NASA aims to launch astronauts on Mars in the late 2030s or early 2040s. Making that idea a reality will be a challenge. Assuming that funding and technology start to work in a timely manner, for example, the round trip time will be about 500 days considering the distance between Earth and Mars.

Spacecraft

Gravity – or lack thereof – can also be a problem, as modern-day spacecraft look similar to those seen in films such as “The Martian” (2015). The astronauts will arrive on the Red Planet after months of using microgravity and face an important road to recovery, even operating on the gravitational force that forms part of Mars, about one-third of the Earth’s surface. NASA suggests that another way to address this issue would be for workers to stay in a stressed area during their campaign.

“We want to develop science to allow them to move around before they have enough space to enter spacesuits, and to go and develop that science in 30 days,” said Kurt Vogel, NASA’s director of space science, in a 30-minute YouTube video statement associated with data extraction.

His mechanical system is in its early stages and could change dramatically. But so far, NASA has envisioned using a space-based spacecraft to transport crews to the Red Planet, using a hybrid rocket platform (supported both by chemicals and electricity). Four people can take a long trip, two downhill, almost identical to the model seen in the Apollo program with three astronauts.

Pre-robot mission

About 25 tons of material and hardware will be ready and waiting for staff, delivered by a pre-robot mission. These resources will include the crew’s crew, which is already refueled and ready to go into space to take it off Mars and re-enter the orbit around the planet. But many of the participants’ thoughts on Mars are coming. The organization has promised to hold a workshop in June with “American industry partners and academics,” invited by NASA. Invited international organizations may also evaluate during the workshop in July.
